1. Talk to us first
If you have a complaint about a purchase, a card, an account or anything else on the platform, write to contact@giaconnect.com (see also the page “Company details and contact”), giving your account email, the order if there is one and what happened. We reply as soon as possible and we try to settle the matter amicably.
2. Consumer protection authority (ANPC)
As a consumer you can also turn to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, www.anpc.ro), which receives complaints about commercial practices.
3. Alternative dispute resolution (SAL)
Consumers can use the alternative dispute resolution entities (SAL) for out-of-court solving of disputes with traders, under Government Ordinance no. 38/2015; the entities and the way to file a request are published by ANPC at www.anpc.ro. We are open to discuss a solution in front of such an entity.
4. Courts
Disputes that are not settled amicably are solved by the competent courts in Romania, under Romanian law. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules and the right to turn to the courts that the law gives you in your country are not affected.
5. Payments and the bank
For a payment problem you can also contact your bank, which can start the procedures for disputed payments; we ask you to contact us first because most problems are solved faster directly. The consequences of a reversed payment are described in the Payment Terms.
6. Language and documents
We answer in Romanian or English. Keep the messages and the proof (screenshots, order number) and send them with your complaint.
