1. What points are
Points are a record kept inside the collection. They show the value of the cards you own and the points you can use on the platform. They are not a currency, they have no financial value and they are not an investment. There are two separate figures in your account: the collection value (“Collection value: X PTS”), which is the value of the cards you currently own and is not spent, and the points to use (“Points to use: Y”), which come from destroying cards and from bonuses and can be used on the platform. Under your name and in the rankings the total is shown (X + Y).
2. The value of a card
Every card has a base value in points that depends on its rarity (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary); the current values are shown in your account and in the Help. Every copy also has a value coefficient: 100% for copies that come from paid packs, and a reduced coefficient for copies obtained with points. The value of a copy is its base value × its coefficient. The coefficient stays with the copy for good, even after a trade. The value of your collection is the sum of the values of the copies you own that were opened.
3. What points cannot be
Points cannot be bought with money, cannot be transferred or given to another account, cannot be exchanged for money, goods or services outside the platform and cannot be inherited or sold. Any attempt to do this with points or with an account is a breach of the Terms.
4. How you get points
By destroying a copy (see below) and through bonuses that we announce in “Bonuses and rules”, when they include points. The collection value grows when you own more valuable copies.
5. Destroying a copy
You can destroy a copy that you own, that is opened and that is not locked. You confirm it on a separate screen by typing the number of the card. You immediately receive the points of the copy (value × coefficient, at least 1 point). The action is final and cannot be undone: the copy goes to the history as destroyed, it never returns to the stock, the real print run of that number becomes smaller and the copy cannot be used again. It is recorded in the history of the copy, which is never erased.
6. What cannot be destroyed
Cards marked CHECK-IN, QUIZ or SECURITY; cards that are in a trade proposal that is still open; cards that belong to a complete set while the set is locked; and any card of an account that is restricted or suspended.
7. Using points
Points to use can be used only on the platform, for the offers that we publish: for example packs bought with points, when we offer them, within the limits shown. A pack bought with points is allocated from the same stock, with the same rules, and the copies obtained that way have a reduced value coefficient (half of the points spent, and so on for later steps) that stays with the copy. When you spend points, the total shown under your name goes down accordingly.
8. Points debt
If a payment is reversed and the points obtained from cards of that order were already spent, the difference becomes a debt of points. The debt is paid first from the points you will receive later, and until it is paid the account may be restricted.
9. Rankings and the collection value
The rankings are made per series, per country and worldwide, using the total. They are a way of showing the progress of the collection, not a reward and not a measure of value outside the platform. We may correct a ranking if an error or an abuse is found.
10. Changes
We may change the base values, the offers and the way points can be used, within the limits of the Terms and of the law, announcing it on the site. What you already own keeps the value it had at the time, unless the law requires otherwise.
